There is a much longer wait for some cars, so I am not sure why everyone is making such a big deal.
A mate of a mate has apparently been waiting since March or April for a spacecab hilux..... |

Some of the sales guys have mentioned it. Whilst they are not TMCA I would expect they have reasonable info

I am right with ya on that. I waited almost 4 months for a car i had imported and i appreciated the hell out of it when i finally got it. Possessions are different for different people, hence a car of this nature to one person will have a different meaning to another. People work hard to afford nice things that other people may consider an unnecessary luxury. Thats life. People will always differ. And here we are. Good thing is we can all wait in anticipation together and past the time on here. Which i aim to do. Also from my experience, depending on which port the cars are loaded in, the ship from Japan takes approx 17-21 days to get to Fremantle, not sure on the east coast, but this will also depend on who the shipping agent is and weather funnily enough. I found tracking my ships journey helped me pass the time also, but it might make it worse for some. Not long now. |

Hi Guys,
I received this letter of update from my dealership first thing this morning. It sheds a little light on what is going on and hopefully they can secure more cars for Australia!! Fourth largest market for the 86 is a decent effort . I have already posted in the dealership section of the forum but cannot give enough praise to John Le Maitre at Hinterland Toyota Robina for continually keeping me up to date with my order and his genuine enthusiasm for the 86. If you still looking for a dealership to deal with at least give him a call and have a chat. Cheers |

not sure about now but there a wait on the R6 as well (depending on color) LOL.. for the raven color that came out last year when I wanted to get one, they advise me that I would have to wait until Sept for one and so I found a nice pearl white scheme one from a country dealer to ship it to me instead You won't do much riding during winter but when summer comes around you will be riding heaps |
