Help with wiring/fuses Racepak dash

Help anyone. These are instructions (see pic) for a racepak dash I'm installing on my car today. Need help figuring out which fuse to use to power it, I couldn't find any 3-5 amp fuses. Also, if anyone has experience installing one of these, please share any tips. Thanks.

You could power it off of one of the power outlets, either in the glove box or in the center console. If you want a more permanent install, you can tap into the power outlet wiring behind the glove box. you will need to remove the glove box and partially disconnect the dash to get to the wire.

Find ANY switched circuit with a fuse LARGER than 5 amps and add your own 3-5 amp fuse to protect the Racepak.

One of these will work depending upon where you want to tap in.

Fuse panel Add-A-Circuit:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0146EB8EM/

Inline fuse holder:

This post has more info about installing the Add-A-Circuit (12 pictures down):

In my sig is a link to the service manuals. This includes all the electrical stuff. I don't maintain the content. No guarantee on how long it lives.

I got the dash working through the obdii, I get RPMs, speed, coolant temp, gear indicator and fuel level, it works great.

The Racepak comes with wiring to connect to the turn signals, high beam indicator, parking brake, tail lights, etc. and display it on the screen and on the led lights at the top. I'm trying to figure out how/where to connect these wires to, so far all I've found is the wiring diagrams for the FRS but I don't have a clue how to read those.

I'm also working on getting a better mount than what's it's on now, my initial plan was to remove the oem cluster and install the Racepak in its place but turns out the car won't start without the oem cluster so I'll have to install it on the steering column, I'm wondering if the column cover is hollow inside on the top part to install a mount that I just ordered. I also have to figure out where to hide the Racepak wire harness.

Help please!

I'm stuck trying to finding the correct wires to tap into to make some features on the racepak work properly. It has wires to tap into the left & right turn signals to light up on the dash when I turn the signals on, as well as for the parking brake, high beam & tail lights. Pics show the instructions on the racepak manual.

Any guidance is appreciated!

I am looking to delete my stock gauge cluster as well to put in an AEM CD-7 Dash. Did you ever find a solution to the car not starting without the stock gauge cluster connected?
