It's just an ebay knock off CS kit. I only have the front lip and rear spats on the car now. I'm running the Driveway labs side skirts and rear diffuser. I also lowered the car with the same wheels.

does anybody know if these will fit on the front with a 245/40R17 and -4.5 degrees of camber? (1.3 on the strut top and 3 on the lower bolt)

That looks awesome. How much did you lower it and what camber are you running?

Would a set of these wheels with Mich. PSS 245/40/17's weigh less than the stock wheel and tire combo?

The tire per the law isn't allowed to stick out past the fender. Read up. 4x4 folks get in trouble for this stuff all the time but there's no reason you couldn't be picked on too. And yes, it's talking about the whole tire - mudflaps won't fix you.

(It may say Maryland over there on the left but I lived in California for 28 years and I know my stuff.)

(I know you made this post a while ago but I figured you were new based on a post you made about exhaust tips so I thought I'd see if there's any actual info you needed...spreading misinformation as a newb is not a good thing )
The tire tread is NOT the wheel, nor the side walls of the tire, it's just what it says, the tire tread...

Actually, they're 22's.

They probably look bigger because I dunno.

I think black wheels look bigger because they blend in with the tire color.. I was looking at my rota titan 17's yesterday and thought they looked huge from a distance.

is 245 the undisputed perfect tire size? Ideally I want to run 235's, but I don't want the 17x8 rpf1's (I dont like the spokes), but I also don't want a stretched tire. Do I just have to suck it up and go with 245s?

by diameter vs stock(aka how bad your speedometer will be off)
225/45/17 is +1.6% difference
235/40R17 is -0.8% difference
245/40/17 is +.4% difference(which is why you see so many people run them)

according to this http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-calculator/

also there is a very good selection at 245/40/17, 235/40/17 not so much. a quick search on tire rack 235 gave me 12 results, 245 gave me 64. I am sure you can make either work but diameter + availability pushes people towards the 245.

I think 235 on an 18" wheel are much more available
