More to make it look a little less illegal. In Australia the wheel isn't allowed to poke out past the guard.

I see... not an issue here in the US. I can see the need to adjust camber if the tire would hit the fender under full compression if not adjusted.

I went with +35 based on the info/pics in this thread. I received the Gunmetal RFP1s in under 24 hours from ordering from Oako. Easy transaction, would recommend.

Here's a lol-worthy photoshop of my setup.

Just got mines installed last week. 17x8.0 and 17x9.0 (rear) . The wheels don't poke out and don't rub either. Ride feels awesome !

I noticed some rear tire rubbing today. It looks like a little white stripe on the outside of the tire. I see some talking about the bumper rubbing where it meets the fender. Anybody else have this? Did it go away? It doesn't seem like I'm all that low. I'm running 245/40/17 BFG Rivals, btw.

17x9 +35, just like the thread title. Rear camber is natural, no adjustables.

Fortune Auto 500 w/9k springs, front and rear. I could always raise it up a bit, but if the rubbing will stop when the little plastic bit wears down, imma stay where I'm at, cause I like the drop and it handles/feels great.

Could be the camber isn't too aggressive "natural" so it'll eventually stop as you said when the tab wears out.
