They look like Mazdas, a bit bulbous and ungainly. It's a shame since they're superior in almost every other way to the first gen.

I still walk away from my 2013 FRS, turn back and look, and say, "Daaaaaammmn..."

I'd walk away from the 2022 twins, turn back and look, and say, "God damn it!"

I'm not against owning ugly cars. I own a Model Y. I'm just against taking a pretty car and making it ugly.

I still think the 2nd gen is a pretty good looking car, but agree it's awkward/overstyled in some areas. The 1st gen is cleaner and sleeker overall. That said, the mechanical improvements on the 2nd gen > the worse styling so worth the trade off for me.
