What's an "ON-STAR Equipped" sign? As for the "year sign confusion", are you sure that it 'confused everyone'? Not just you?

since the mid 90's the majority of General Motors vehicles have been equipped with onstar-- basically a dedicated cellular connection to be used for emergencies and like a cell phone. it's not a chrysler feature. and debuted 3 years after my car had been built.

i had a lot of fun with the newer model year stickers. it was actually a very interesting but unintended social experiment.

when people started constantly calling into question how new my old car was--many of which were car people that knew that production had ended 5-6 years before that time, in ways better than i ever could, i came to the realization there's a an expectation to most people that stickers on things are telling the truth first, and the majority of people don't use any sort of reasoning, or check any facts against a simple $2 sticker on a multi-thousand dollar piece of equipment.
