Okay so for the most part I-5 highway is uneventful. So taking the Highway 1 coastal drive on the way back to Sac is a little bit longer but are there any good spots along the way up for sure?

From the same seller that posted that 2JZ swapped JDM 240sx. BIN 55k for a NSX with 48k? O.o

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acura-NSX-Co...m=291736207756

Why's the front and rear bumper fucked up/warped like that? And the right exhaust tip bent as well. Strange.

Sorry guys, I didn't see these (at least I don't remember seeing and replying to them).
@nimble, I have a monogram, so those are my factory headlights.
@Clipdat, I wouldn't call this an extreme drop, more like zero finger gap drop. Feels great. I have it at 7 (or was it 8) clicks back of full stiff all around. Feels better than stock with the exceptions of big bumps. Big bumps are felt twice as much compared to stock. Otherwise, feels smoother than stock. Performance-wise, I really don't know since I don't drive my car hard since I'm mainly just commuting from Vallejo to San Rafael and back. lol. To me, it feels like there is less body roll tho.
@finch1750, I do have camber, but I kept them at minimal. In fact, the driver side rear corner is within OEM spec and the passenger side is .1* from being within spec. Fronts are at -1.4 and -1.7*. I may have to run a bit more to clear the new shoes that I'll be putting on Thursday night after work.

Would love to own an NSX one day but people are asking way too much for a car that 25years old... I get they are part of that classic JDM golden years era but damn, I saw one going for 80k the other day.

For that price, I'd rather buy a stock/very minimally modded MKIV Supra or NSX. Although I really don't know how much they go for.

NSX prices will only climb, they may dip if the economy suffers (people have to unload their toys due to unemployment, bad investments, etc. higher supply and lower demand) but they will never be as cheap as they were 5-10 years ago.

Every time I research older cars, anything that's semi-desirable will follow a 50 year curve with the low point being in the middle (give or take) and then it will climb after that and at year 50 will be worth the same as it was new (inflation adjusted), rarer cars shoot up faster like the NSX, Supra, FD, 3000 GT are probably going to hit the 'break-even' point within 10 years.

Just check out Corvettes, Mustangs, early 911's, cheap sports cars from the late 70's and through the 80's and early 90's are starting to climb, RX-7, Fox Body Mustangs, 3rd Gen Camaros, AE86/MR2, early Celica/Supra's, I've seen mint '89-'92 Miata's fetch near $10k already, hell even VW Beetles (clean ones can easily fetch >$20k now).

In 1991 the NSX was $60k new, that's $105k today.
So if you want to buy an NSX in the next 10 years I'd say you need to start saving up to buy a six figure+ car. Just popped $105k into inflation calculator for 10 years at 3% so in 2026 I'd guess the average going rate for a nice NSX will be $150k or more barring a significant economic event.

While googling the original MSRP I found this article that will make you sad: Most fun cars for $25k from 2008
http://www.caranddriver.com/features...ura-nsx-page-3
That article makes me sad too, the only 911's under $25k anymore are base model 996 (first year water cooled) that are typically pretty well worn.

Edit: Best investment opportunity I know of? Pick up a clean mid 80's, early 90's sports car, keep it clean and well maintained, use it to keep it limber. Should be less than $10k to pickup an MR2, GTV6, 928/944, Miata, RX-7, Mustang, Trans-Am, E30, E36 M3 etc. and put it in tip top shape, I guarantee those cars will double in value over the next 10 years.

I doubt it unless it was hot smogged since only the Innovate was CARB

The car has a Perrin intake and a nameless axelback, not sure if the intake has a carb sticker or not

I have to correct myself. The Perrin CAI is carb approved. If it doesn't come with it you can try contacting Perrin to get one since an intake is an intake. Can't really mod it to make it illegal easily
