Luckily I haven't had any street racers. Lots of people staring at the car when I drive by or in parking lots mostly. One morning I was driving to work and making a left when an attractive girl walking across stops, turns around and points to the car and said something about how nice looking the car is lol. That's about it for me so far.

Strange as it seems, but I get the most tailgating, flyby's, revving, etc. from the WRX / STi crowd. I thought there would be more of a family friendly response, but apparently not.

Those s2000 drivers are always flooring it whenever the see the twins.

I think other people are jealous that the twins are getting a lot of attention, especially from the chicks ya know.

I had some college girls sing love songs at me while we were crusing along last night, was fun

Also played with a Ram truck next to me at a stoplight, tapping my brakes to the music on downhill making our cars jut back and forth, all good natured fun.

Nothing like that for me. I still have people rubber-necking when I drive past them, whether it's people in their cars or pedestrians. And I think of every time I've filled up my gas tank (often times quite late at night) I have only had 3 or 4 times where somebody hasn't come up to me and started asking questions about the car. Clients seem to love it too. Car people ask real questions about it like horsepower, torque, etc. Non-car people say things like "what a neat looking car" and "can i ask how much that cost?"

I have definitely had some people follow me but not for ages. Somebody was either taking pictures or a video as she was driving with her cell phone in front of her face. Nice and safe there. And another person who followed me eventually pulled up beside me at a red light, gave me a thumbs up and asked me how I liked it, etc.

Just cool people all and all. Only takes one though. :P

Just remember all the people who have stared admiringly at the car, don't worry about the people who are just trying to build themselves up by driving like a douche.

GC8 RHD turbo... tailing me, pulling beside, flooring it away. then slowing back down to floor it away again.
S2000... dropping a gear and flooring it away.

on and on... this is all while I have the cruise control set to around 115km'ish.

Thankfully I don't get this sort of crap when I'm in the MR2. Street racing is stupid as fuck and I just don't get what these morons are trying to prove.

It's getting quite annoying.
do what I do, when I get to a light and there's an idiot that wants to race I pretend im gonna launch with him by revving and let him tear it up alone and take off nice and gentle lol. Then at the next light I tell him I fucked up shifting and just wash/repeat till he takes off blazing and I turn at the light lol!

Had a GTI driver full of kids floored it beside me yesterday in a 50 zone. First gear is kind of loud, maybe he thought I wanted to race when taking off from green light.
