Another quirk I've found is the auto-dimming mirror is only powered on with the engine. Occasionally, I'll forget to open my garage door on my way from the door to the house and the car. In other cars the homelink would "wake up" as soon as you opened the driver's door. In this car it doesn't which means I have to either start the car and briefly fill the garage with exhaust, or get out and go back to the wall switch. |

You could also just turn the ignition "on". 2 presses on the start button without turning the engine on, and it powers up. |

Would it have killed them to put a light in the glove box?

Is Oshawa the carjacking capital of Canada or something? Do they just steal cars because they aren't manufacturing any there any more?
Sad that all the auto plants there closed down, especially since they had extremely low defect rates, but that's another story. |

If you have a big dog in back, keep the lap belts fastened. I learned this when the chime started to intermittently chirp.

I thought the same thing. This could be interesting because they are so small it's really just a contoured cargo shelf. I'd really hate to have to belt in my helmet or random shopping bag. Doubt I'll every put a human back there.
