If you get touch up paint make sure you pick up the Lanka Blob remover!

Mine doesn't cover it unless I had taken an advanced warranty plan

Use a cleaner wax or something with a mild abrasive. Meguiars makes one that you can find at any auto parts store.

I have thousands of tiny chip marks on my front bumper and there's nothing I can do about it except apply some wax / filler over it. First month I had the car a Ford F150 decided to act like a dumbass when passing me and another driver of a Mustang, all the sudden his dry-rotted tire shredded off, sparks went everywhere and all the debris hit both our cars.

You dun screwed up already. This is a bad option to take. Only use those wash bays for pressure washing, don't use their shitty no-name wax options. Get a real paste wax for that job.

Most newer cars will chip very easily. This is due to new VOC regulations and manufacturers now use water based base coats and thinner clear coats to meet these regulations.

Unless you are pelted by larger objects, I have had good luck with clear bras. Yes a few rocks made it through the film on my water car but catches the majority of the others. I live in a city where we gravel our roads.

lol

I prefer wax spray, but I agree it's a no brainer.

Does your clear bra cover your front bumpers? I got one but it's only at the end of the hood and a little bit underneath. I thought it would cover the actual front of my car but the dealer told me that's too complicated. Which I thought was insanely stupid cuz that's where most of my rock chips are. So I was wondering if anyone else had their fronts covered?

It depends on where you get it from I would imagine. I believe the Scion one does, but I do know 3M has the pattern for it. I looked at it when I was thinking about getting one because I could get it for a discount. Here's the spec sheet:

Unless you got some sort of paint warranty with your dealer, which i did at almost no cost, then you can have that repaired.

Otherwise, I would just repair that myself by what @Tcoat said and buy touch up paint.

The best touch up paint was for my Mazda, it was a perfect match for the metallic graphite too. Both the paint and the clear were applied through a felt tip. It was so damn easy. I don't know why more touch up paint isn't applied like that?!

I didn't do clear bra because the cost to do the entire front end as in the 3M pic above was probably what I'd pay to just have it repainted in a few years. It didn't seem worthwhile to do just the nose and not the rest of the front.

I definitely have chips on the front end.

But those are of course because racecar. . .

I was quoted $899 for the full package above in 2012. Not exactly a whole paint job but not exactly cheap either.
