I know before on the V2 it wasn't, and I needed V3 for it to work. I do have maf voltage on the V4 displaying properly though.

All roms pre 2017 now based on A01I rom so should work. IAM initial on e85 roms is stil! 1

That's how it reads to me, but I don't really wanna risk a bricking.

RR2ECUFlash worked a treat. I may run the defs all through it today and upload them here for everyone's benefit

Basicly any 2012-2016 manual car will run on an A01G based map

Am I correct in this assumption? I mean, I've read so many times on this forum that you should check all the tables to make sure things don't look all wacky before flashing. Sounds like the advice should be, make sure the tables don't look all wacky if you plan to edit the table.

Not trying to create any confusion around here. Just looking for a better understanding of how this all fits together. Any time I flash a rom I'm a bit stressed. A better understanding would certainly reduce my stress level a little. Hahaha
Correct, you only need defs to edit roms, they are the index into the tables within the rom\tune.

If you just want to flash your just flashing the entire block of code so you dont need def, just a device that knows how to flash the ecu with the block of code. All ecu the code block is same size and gets flashed to same location in ecu.

Use kodename47 def here its has corrected table and more tables defined

Use text editor search fir the bad table name and compare between defs

It took my car roughly 25 miles of short hop driving (after flash) to regain throttle response and for idle to stabilize. V4 e85 has a nice shove around 3500 rpm that aids acceleration and I don't need to go over 5k now to be amused

So now you have a single rom file? Wow! A bit risky if there are small differences in uncharted areas on the roms ...

not rearly been doing it for years :-)

the ecu hardware is same in all cars
There are some small differences in external connections like for evap purge connection, but these are non critical. Only connected on usa cars, hence why euro roms used

Flashed the car yesterday with Stage 2+ for 91/93 and it definitely seems quieter. Less than 25 miles on it so I haven't tested power but so far everything seems to be working well. It was nice not having to adjust the cold start tables.
