What the...
Who did I piss off?
In a matter of 5 days: 1. My GPU took a shit. I had to initiate an RMA request with EVGA (thank god for lifetime warranties). I had to take my card with me on the road next day to locate a UPS store an get it on its way. It was the start of two weeks without my computer. 2. I was leaving home for 5 days to Wilmington, MA to open a new store. On Monday I walked out my door planning to take my 98 Cherokee beater but thought for a bit about how aside from the drive up on Monday and the drive back on Friday I wouldn't really be doing a lot of the usual driving I do so I'll take my car. Two hours later I was rear-ended by a guy in a black Audi A4 in the toll plaza getting off the Mass Pike onto 495. Thankfully he was a straight up good guy and his insurance company had accepted responsibility the next day. The car was driveable and, thankfully, the damage was isolated to the rear bumper. I dropped my car off the following Monday and have now been without it for over a week...looking like two. 3. While away for a week with my car damaged I also got sick. What the fuck? That's why I've been MIA and why that Kancamagus cruise never materialized. How do folks feel about doing it in October?

Wow you are lucky the guy that hit you was a good guy. My old car was totaled when a guy rear ended me in the rain in the same spot. He lawyered up and argued that I merged into his lane and cut him off when I was actually in the lane and tried to dodge left to avoid him from hitting me with people in my car.
Guy worked at a car accident clinic where they offered physical theraphy. Tried to sell me and my 3 passangers physical theraphy and then proceeded to sue my insurance when he wasn't even hurt with bullshit doctors results and won. |

Car was fixed up real nice. Now I just have to find someone to reapply opti-coat to the bumper. I'm not going back to the last guy.
