I remember when the 350SXF came out. A lot of people mistook it for a big 250, when really it felt more like a light 450. It punches well above it's weight. The older LC4 based engines where kind of lackluster and old school with a lot of KTM quirks. After they came out with the SXF line of bikes with the new dual overhead cam design, which is still pretty trick by today standards, they improved a lot. Even the more modern version of the original LC4, like what is in my 690, is light years above their early designs.

Also, turns out I've been a crazy person for years, and it took having to replace my clutch to finally bother.

I have the most pathetic tomato patch this year. When we moved in, the garden area was neglected for several years, and overgrown with weeds and highly invasive sumac. It took us months of work, and gallons of heavy brush killer to clear it. When it came time to plant, I was suffering from health problems, so basically I did no garden prep, and we just stuck them in the ground. I think the soil needs a lot of work for next year. Plus I need to trim the nearby trees for more light.
@humfrz, what do you suggest for the soil?

On the other hand, my son loves carving pumpkins at Halloween, so we planted 6 plants against the back fence. We already have pumpkins taller than my knees. I count about 30 pumpkins. I have a feeling we will be giving a lot away to the neighbor kids.

Putting peat moss is one of the best soil rejuvenators. Get a couple of bails and a tiller. Turn it into the ground about 3 to 4 inches. Not sure of your soil PH, have it tested and you can correct it for your garden.
Looks like you are in an arid area, so you could look at a product like "soil moist". It is a polymer that holds moisture and releases it slowly. Turn it into the ground in the area of your plantings.

Depending on what brush killer you used there may be some residual left. It could take a few years to totally clear. This could stunt growth.

You need to have a word with your neighbours as they're throwing old worn out shoes into your fabulous home veg garden.

That happens to be one of my favorite slippers. Ok, the "fur" on the inside is about gone, but still comphy.

You won't have a residual effect for following crops.

That's nice to hear, I can see that you like taking care of your "favourite slippers". BTW, just ordered a new pair as I have worn through my current slippers, WFH, I haven't worn "proper" work shoes in months...

BTW, you should tie little "tell tails" to the wire frames supporting your tomatoe plants, don't want anyone poking their eye out when picking the ripened fruit..

That's assuming there is any ripened fruit to pick -
