WRX Oil Filter
So I have a few 15208AA170 (2015+ WRX) filters lying around and was wondering if I can use them for our cars? They seem to be smaller in size than our oem 15208AA130. Please let me know your thoughts and experiences as I havent been able to find any information anywhere else.

Sure. Why not? It's not my car so try it out. What's the worst that can happen?
Don't be stingy. Buy any cheap filter that's fits your car. Hell buy a Fram filter.
