Turn signal cancelling/turn off issue
So I'm currently noticing a small issue with my turn signal switch. Everything is functioning properly except for when the turn signal cancels itself or turns off after a turn. When making a left turn, it cancels instantaneously when straightening the wheel. When making a right turn on the other hand, I noticed there's a delay when it cancels itself. When I'm straightening the wheel after a right turn, the steering wheel position would have to be back at the center for the turn signal to return to the neutral position.
Backstory: Started noticing this issue when I removed quick release setup back to the OEM steering wheel. With that, the clock spring cover came off and so did cables inside. I tried my best winding it back and so far it hasn't been giving me issues. Was considering replacing down the road. Was wondering if this issue can be related to the clock spring or turn signal switch? Thanks! |

That would be my guess.
I'd suggest you leave it be, sounds like you have done messed it up enough. humfrz |

That white pawl I'm moving with my finger normally catches on the clockspring, which you let come apart. Things are probably not where they should be. |

Also, how rigid is the white pawl? I just want to replace the clockspring and was hoping I wouldn't need to replace the blinker portion. |
