Videos, pics and all will be coming probably by Monday. I still need to install fuel pump. Clutch will have to wait a bit.

I'm spent. Back at it tomorrow AM!

The stock washer bottle works. I installed the Perrin intake.

Ok, I'm not dead!! Install is complete. It took three days, because I wanted to do some supporting mods. That plan came out with mixed results. I could not use the radiator I had ordered, and the last modification I did was install a bigger fuel pump. After the fuel pump install, the car does not want to start. I can hear the pump prime, but the car just cranks and does not go.

I tried switching the cables around but still does not start. I will be looking into this later in the week.

The install is not hard but time consuming. The big parts are very easy, finishing it up and taking care of all the little details is a bit more involved. It sounded AMAZING when I fired it up. I could not do much more then Rev it up a couple of times and had it running for about 10 minutes.

I will add pictures in the next few posts.

thats odd that the fuel pump isnt letting it start if wired correctly. did u upgrade your injectors too?

Yeah, but I fired it up with injectors, new flash and all. The car was already running like it should and we decided to do the pump and after the pump, it hasn't started again. I hear it priming when in the ON position, but the car won't start.

that is really weird if everything else should support it and its connected correctly. at that point it has me thinking it could just b defective or theres a kink or something stupid

Good youre not dead. I dont agree with all your posts at times but never wanted to see ya die...What radiator did you order?

Awe, shucks, wish you kept it without supporting mods and did it slowly
does putting the old one in make the car run?

Have you tested for actual pressure under the hood?
Not unusual to crank it a bunch after a FP on most cars, but Im sure you know that
got enough gas?? Havent done one yet on this car, so good to see what there is to learn from your endeavors.

I thought about it twice, and kept the stock radiator, but the process in between changing it/ keeping stock took a lottt of time off our hands.

I have not tested pressure, one odd thing is that either after first install ir after swapping the cables, I never got pressure in the line when removing the pump assembly. Reinstalling the OEM one would be a lst resort as you need to cut and solder cables and I would need to do that backwards. Also, before installing the new pump the car was running, so I'm completely sure it has to do with either the pump or how its installed. I hear it priming, but no start.

I have 3/4 tank and when you actually open the tank it seems like its full! I cranked it quite a few times, I am going to remove it and redo the install. I honestly did not like the offerings available but said what the heck... the ar is torn apart might as well do it, but after trying it I still don't like the offerings. I wish it was more "drop in" then it is. The new pump does not sit flush in the canister like the OEM pump.

Trust me I am VERY eager and curious to do the same FP and injector upgrades. Not the 1st time hearing this, I need this to be be a better fit kit for me to go tracking it at triple digits speeds, or I need to better understand the fix, iirc it was shortening a line or nipple or something?

I dont see items that are as good as stock or fit as good, so I think this needs to be addressed. You spend your hard earned money.

I'm a lab rat and went into it knowing so. Your install should be wham bam thank you ma'am if you ask me. Apply slow gentle pressure to your vendor/pump maker, this aint your fault.

The vendor may not be aware of your issue, but if this is a known install issue, it needs to be addresses before others encounter this issue.

Whose radiator? You have the Visconti pump?
