I miss the Santa Cruz mountains. I could go for an awesome drive after dinner and be home in 45 minutes. Now I have to drive an hour just to start a good drive. Who has 5 hours for a mediocre drive. Not having to go to my old job is great, but missing my friends and home is bad too. I figure I might just sell my cars...

Can anyone recommend an oinment for hives? I ate grilled squid and all of a sudden I have rashes all over my body.

Yea, covid hasn't helped. I expected to travel home a couple times by now, and even bought a car hauler. Covid and health bills (surgery has totalled $7300 to date) have really changed things. My idea of going to driving school for a retirement present has changed to paying for Obama care.

Battle scar, lol. Only my wife will see this one.

yes/no. i like doing something productive with my time. i've got plenty of things to do in my free time, but as you know, bills don't exactly stop.. there's days that i enjoy my job, where i get to help people, and there's days where i don't help anyone and everyone is chewing on a piece of me... i just haven't figured out how to get people to pay me for being me!

Car hauler? To haul a car back to CA? Won't any of your cars make the trip? Oh, maybe you can't convince mrs Sapphireho to travel that far in any of your sports cars? If that's the case, you might do what I do. I give mrs humfrz two Dramamine, two Prozac and a sleeping pill 30 minutes before we take off. She is good for 8 hours in the FR-S. -

I figure it would be nice to go places in the truck, then be able to pull out the sports car for fun. Plus, if I have a real problem I can't fix, I don't want anyone here touching my cars. The mechanic that did my smog check had never seen a lotus, and asked me who made it. Nearest lotus mechanic is hundreds of miles away.
