What a pain, this car has been trouble free (minus crickets/condensation in the tail lights/leaky cam plate) but being babied and with so few miles I didn't expect a CEL that keeps coming back.

With zero warranty left would I have better luck at a Subaru dealership? These engines aren't the servicing nightmare of a rotary but I don't want to finance guesses.
Oh, I reckon I'd look at the $150 spent at the dealership as a "second opinion". Whether it's at your Toyota dealership or a Subaru dealership would depend on how comfortable you feel at that particular dealership.

What would I do? Well, I would take my car up to the local auto shop that I've done business with for the past 25 years and tell the manager what the symptoms (codes) were and ask them to evaluate the situation. If they think they can fix it they will tell me so. Then I would ask for an estimated cost.

If they can't fix it, they would tell me so and I would have to take it to the dealer or up to a tuning shop that works on these kinds of cars.

I hope you get it sorted out and fixed soon.

Hah, good point. The only thing missing is the dash panel, but because it's a 10-series it has that illuminated logo behind it so I'm stuck with it.

hmm, i wonder what it would look like/if it would work if you were to "tint"/wrap the panel with darker, translucent film..

or light spray of black paint? idk

Installed carbon fiber e-brake handle from ft86speedfactory:

also installed a bunch of dust particles too ^

btw thinking about getting rid of these aluminum door cards soon. will come with all the switches. no speaker hole, and powder coated in wrinkle black. the fit is eh, and maybe i just didnt install them properly but there's some rattling and squeaks going on behind them, sounds like plastic rubbing? have just been too lazy to do anything about them. you'll def need racing seats if you want your body to stay planted, didnt realize how much the factory door cards helped to keep you in place. iirc only 2 lbs lighter than stock each (4lbs total), and that includes removing the front door speakers.. not much gained except for space and a cleaner look

will have a proper fs thread in maybe a month or 2

Not today but when we are all stuck inside for sure which is probably about to happen, I'm stripping the car all down of the sealant and waxes on it, doing paint correction and a ceramic coating with Armor Shield IX.

I blame greedy Photobucket... I am so busy right now... no time for social media. I may never fix those pics

I am getting a 24x40x12 shop with a 12ft lean-to at my new house! Concrete going in on the 26th. Eventually I'll get back to completing my build. I want to be done so bad!

Keep up the detail work... makes all the difference!

A productive day in quarantine spent in the garage.

I Polished and coated my stock wheels. I plan to install them next weekend.
I miss sliding the car in roundabouts 😆

Started pulling my winter wheels off and stripped the thread on the first lug. Never using aluminum lugs again for winter.

Banged it out, but now I'm screwed til Friday when my quarantine is over. 😆
