You're probably the most petty person on this forum!

I should be a mod, I'd ban people for saying the words torque dip, or for saying fwd sucks because fwd.

I was going to say 2J it, but that is probably half the length of the rig. I had a hard enough time cramming a 5cyl in my 4cyl Yota.

I'd say that title is pretty up in the air around here

At the risk of derailing a random thought thread, there is a GM 4.3L V6 swap that is at the top of my list for spring 2022. This summer will be new top and some misc projects with an emphasis on not ****ing with it too much so I can actually use it this winter for the reason I bought it. Gather parts this winter and do an appropriate refresh next spring. I even wrote it down as I'm the guy who buys a winter vehicle in May and has it in pieces by Halloween and back on the road by Valentine's Day. Just in time to replace the BRZ I trashed in a snowy climate...

4.3 would be a big upgrade. They fit? I know the V6 out of the grand vitara is what the Sammy guys where doing. It is easy to go to far too quick, I should know, I haven't driven my rig since 2012

Same thought I originally had... go with the Sidekick 1.6L 16V swap and call it a day. Saw some going with the Vitara V6 as well and then found these guys...

Not a GM fan except when it comes to swaps. 4.3 is a 5.3 with two cylinders neutered and making everything work with even an OEM ECU is a breeze. Had a YJ w/ LS3 and Holden 5.7 ECU for auto-tranny override control.

i never banned a person no matter how toxic. i just pummeled them with irritating conversations and randomly altered their posts to support their opposing viewpoints until they left of their own accord in frustration.

imo, it worked better that way. because when you ban someone, even an IP ban, there's nothing preventing them from rebooting their modem and creating a new account with a different email..

That’s seems like a reasonable option, and 4.3’s are a dime a dozen.

Very true, this method sounds more fun and entertaining.

there's always just ignoring their new threads (unless they just start spamming everywhere).

most people just want their pedestal, and replying to them just gives them what they want, imo.

same thing on any forum, really.

OK, I'm a bit slow on the uptake today - what are you talking about?

Where have you been hum ??

Guy got mad in the COVID threads. Got banned from OT. Keep creating threads in the site announcements/problems section. Apparently kept PM’ing the admin. Finally got banned. That’s the abridged version. There is more to it then that and it’s been going on for quite a while.
