Question Rear Popping noise when going up driveways on angle

So by the title, my 2014 86 makes a popping / rubbing sound in the rear on the passenger side (Australian) when I go over bumps or driveways on an angle only. Pretty much when there is twisting motion in the chassis. It’s something behind the plastic panels in the rear where the speakers sit. Around there. Any clues and anyone know about this? Cheers guys!!!

Stop listening out for it, it'll soon go away. I'm now completely oblivious to creaks, clicks or other noises.. Just enjoy the drive.

Are you lifting one of the rear wheels? Probably the "e-diff" kicking in.

If one of the rear wheel completely loses traction (e.g. going up driveway angled), the torsen diff is open. That means all the power will go to the wheel that is lifted, and you are stuck there. The TCS applies braking to the lifted wheel so that power can go to the gripping wheel and keep the car moving.

If that's not it, check your top hat nut or end links to make sure they are snug

The sound is like it’s inside the car interior. Not an outside mechanical problem. Like two plastic panels rubbing together. Not sure
