Need help choosing coilovers
This is my every other day daily my work commute takes me through 125mi of winding mountain roads and up through 3 mountain passes. the car is driven hard but will not be tracked. I think the stock suspension is outstanding so I only want coilovers that are going to make the car better. I need to go a little lower when I put 18"s on next summer and I'm wanting to have the car corner balanced or I'd just put Sti springs on and be done with it
Budget is 3k but I don't want to spend money just to spend money |

Do you want to be able to adjust damping? If so the KW V3's are a good choice. If you don't care about adjustment, the KW V1's are also good. I'm on RCE Tarmac 2's because I do Autocross and some HPDE stuff. They're a little stiff just for street duty, but still livable.

Better how?
Don't get me wrong, RCE Tarmacs are awesome. I don't know if T0 would suit better, or something else entirely, or... That said, alignment makes a huge difference. Make sure you can get enough camber, and don't throw it all away with stagger or something equally silly. Why lower? |

I'm fine not messing with dampening as long as it's setup right from the manufacturer |

The adjustable damping is a good thing as if it's designed correctly, it will allow the driver to fine tune within the usable range of damping force. What that mean is you can dial the response vs. comfort until you find a point that suit your driving preference. Everyone is different, and what is one person stiff is another person's soft, so damping adjustment is a really good tools to have. Jerrick |

I'm not sure you really need coilovers.
RCE Yellows + Bilstein B6 + camber bolts = fun. Spend the rest of your money on a nice steak dinner every Friday for the rest of the year. ![]() - Andrew |

What a great guy. Doesn't try to push the coils that another user recommended from their own brand. Instead gives OP a more suitable option for his needs AND saves him money. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:w00 t: ![]()
