Thanks man! Welp, you'd have to keep going another 3 hours to get to my door. Stuck on the stretch South of Portland that no one ever seems to traverse.

Don't let me dissuade you. My first house was a flaming disaster for many reasons, least of which was the actual house. Most of the issues were people drama.

Piggy backing off Special's post, I sat down and did some financial calculations. Checked my credit score and no surprise, its shit. Mostly because I have no credit history. If I were to get the Twins now, it'll be at 14% APR ($606/month before taxes,etc. with 5000 down payment). I nearly shed tears at that number. I just need like 70 points to get to Scion's 0.9% deal but thats not going to be for months.

Checking with my credit union, the highest APR is 8.25% (which I dont mind) but they only cover max 70% of sticker or MSRP. So... I have to put down 7500 anyways. That ends up to be around 360/month or so for 48 month loan.

Either way, I have to play the waiting game. Its damn agonizing and I kinda wish that I never went to take that test drive. But would I rather pay 10 grand of interest for a 26 grand car or 2-4 grand (or 500 if I can get the 0.9% deal)? My head over my heart

Cant you apply to wal-mart/sams credit card? I started with 300$ limit credit and so on until my name apeared in credit history. Sqaure your shoulders
