Fixing to sell. So getting their garbage out benefits me when it comes time to list.

I suggest that you check the county records (public and on line) and find out who owns (has title to) the property.

That may lead you to a strategy to get it cleaned up.

Bubba suggests that you turn the occupants into ICE, the FBI, ATF and the county/city health department for investigations -

My new goal at work is to make enough bad puns in our group Teams chat that my boss tells me to take the afternoon off.

Way ahead of you. It is the elderly couple that lives there, they have owned it since 98' and it has gone into disrepair over the last 10-12 years since they are not in good enough health to take care of the property, he needs a walker to get around much.

Excellent! If it wasn't already obvious, I'm also the class clown of my team at work.

Well, that's too bad the old folks are in bad health -

I can identify, not because of bad health, but because of diminished ambition and progressive laziness. That place looks like my basement - just ask @Ultramaroon .

What to do?

Maybe offer to arrange to have the place cleaned up, if they have any money to pay for a trash out team?

Bubba suggests to build a big assed fence on your property line that borders their property?

The do nothing approach, in hopes the buyer of your property just plans to use it as a rental, and won't much care how the neighbors property looks?

My brother got a job in San Francisco and they want him out there for a month in January. Much better job than his current one.

Christmas is now in February.

Doing nothing is an option. To be fair this place is only worth 200ish all said and done. So it will 99% be a first time home buyer. This house is not adequate enough for a family larger then having one small child.

The place is across the street. So the landfill view is directly in front of the dining room window. I framed the window up on purpose to cut off the view.

I am fairly certain even if they had the motivation to clean up, they don’t have the means. I am going to talk with a couple of the neighbors who are longtime stalwarts of the community and active in the church to see if they can get me a couple volunteers to help and I’ll just cover the dump fee since I will be going there anyway.

This, my friends, is how one solves a problem.

Just be careful of covid.

Sounds like a good plan. Let's just hope the owners are willing to let go of their "stuff" -

NY Times cybersecurity reporter quoting MS President saying the article is false already. Either way, expect tomorrow to be interesting for IT.

Well that would explain some of the actions MS took against the threat.
