You guys need to stop posting all these videos! I’ve watched way too many of them considering we can’t get it in the USA. Might do some traveling in Europe at some point, hoping there might be a specialty rental outfit that might have one.

I suggest you come over, buy one for your travels, then sneak into the US under "piece of art or museum artifact"..

All good points, but I think the GR Yaris would sell in the states. It might take a little longer to sell each one, but they would sell. I think it’s been the same with every special model of a performance car. A buddy of mine bought an Integra TypeR new that had been sitting at the Acura dealership for months. He paid pretty close to asking price. And all the while it was drawing people in to look at it, or want to test drive it. Which thankfully they didn’t let anyone test drive it. They also had an NSX that was in their showroom for a long time. I’m not sure if they eventually sold it to someone, or maybe the dealership owner bought it. I guess what I’m saying is these types of cars bring people in to dealerships, and maybe they will end up buying something else. And one of us crazy people will actually buy a GR Yaris. It would stand out in the Toyota lineup for sure! Not that most people pay attention to actual cool cars, but word gets around. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the GR86 will bring something different than the BRZ. I’m still buying a 2nd gen BRZ anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

After a few hiccups mine is finally here
I just couldn't stop grinning today and the car attracted quite a few interested looks and compliments. I also must say that the pearl white is quite an interesting color. Sometimes it looks like a normal white but when I parked the car in the garage I really thought. Wow what a stunning paint job. It really depends a lot on the lighting. I guess in the summer it will really get to shine. |

How about Chris Harris when he is being himself and not a Top Gear muppet?

I don’t agree with him on everything, but I always find his commentary enjoyable. It is a tangent from this thread, but this interview of him and some of his cars was insightful and enjoying. The recent Citroen race is worth watching too.
