I can definitely feel a difference. I'm also untuned. The exhaust without the header was great. I was beating my friend's FR-S with just a catback by about 2 car lengths from a roll. So it wasn't just butt dyno. Then I added the header and you can feel that there's is no vtech feeling anymore caused by the torque dip. I love my set up now. |

When you bought your Hella Supertones, did you need to acquire any other parts for install besides what came in the box from FT86SF? Also, in your opinion, how difficult was the install. I read through both DIY posts, but neither really gave me an idea on difficulty.

I do know that you can buy harnesses online that help with the install. |

Looks like there is paint bubbling/overspray at the bottom of the pic. GET A REFUND.

So this weekend I spent a little bit of time in St. Augustine working on cars with my buddy @gatorbushmen. He spent most of his time changing out wheels and tires for drifting, while I installed my OEM armrest and engine and pulley covers from Nameless. I wanted to paint my yellow engine bay caps red, but thanks to this humid Florida weather, I decided to hold off so I could do it correctly.
Thank God someone in the DIY page for the armrest posted a picture of Pop Toggles. 3 little rubber with brass insert stopper things went through the hole that I drilled for the armrest to screw in. So I just replaced all the rubber things with those Pop Toggles and then it was easy to finish. Other than that, the install was pretty straight forward with the template and everyone's tips/instructions. I tried to take my time because I felt so bad drilling into my car haha. I just wanted to make sure not to screw it up. I don't like doing any mods that require drilling. The armrest makes the entire interior look so much cleaner and just nicer. Now you don't have stuff showing that is in the console. It matches perfectly and it sits perfectly for my arm to rest. After over a year and a half of having this part, I'm now very happy I installed it. It also has a little opening for cords to run through, as you can see with the white iPhone cord. (I think that's just some Sprite that I accidentally spilled on the seat. Oops) These Nameless covers are CNC machined aluminum and TIG welded. I got them powdercoated wrinkle red to match the GrimmSpeed strut bar, with black rivets. I love how they look and they were definitely worth the weight. They are very solid pieces and just help me with my red/white theme. The engine cover is my favorite The 'N' was lasered in after powder coating, and matches the 'N' on my shift knob. Too bad the strut bar covers a bit of it, but I know it's there, which is all that matters. Thanks @Jason@Nameless and @Ryan@Nameless. |

I also polished my exhaust tips because they had so much soot on them. I used some Turtle Wax Chrome and Polish.
Then I had to use some diluted Purple Power on my clear bra because I think the dealer got some bug wash on it that stained the bra. After putting in some elbow grease, it looked new again. |

Not really a mod, but this just came in today: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Covercraft-UVS100-Shield-Windshield-Sunshade/dp/B009B8UVJ2/"]Amazon.com: Covercraft UVS100 Heat Shield Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade for Select Subaru BRZ Models - Laminate Material (Silver): Automotive[/ame]
I figured I should save the interior from fading, and keep it cooler with a nice sunshade. |

If you are considering a sunshade, I would definitely recommend this. It's very sturdy, it folds neatly to put behind the passenger seat, the reflective material is nice, it fits PERFECTLY, and it's one of the cheaper options that is designed for our car at $48 shipped. It even comes down enough for alarm systems (like mine) or dash cams. Hopefully it helps fight off that Florida sun. It looks identical to the pricey Subaru stamped one, so I wonder if they just put their name on it and spiked up the price.
