Fresh PMU Club Racers in all four calipers ready for bedding. Rotated the wheels diagonally since Barber already got the tires broken in nicely. I love square fitment for getting the most out of each tire. I'm excited to burn some more corn at Atlanta Motorsports Park on Friday! |

Nice! I'm ready too, fresh HC+800 pads and the stock muffler back on.
I think we'll both appreciate it. |

Filled up the tank plus two 5 gallon jugs with fresh E85.
Ahh, that's better. On the way home I saw some pretty crazy shit. A large mouth bass trying to swallow an Anteater. I almost couldn't believe my eyes, but BOOM FOR REAL© Atlanta is full of surprises. Last edited by ATL BRZ; 03-13-2014 at 04:08 PM. |

My early birthday present from my girlfriend is a driver mod!
Puma Speed Cat driving shoes. I've never had proper driving shoes before so I'm excited to try these out on track tomorrow. |

I may or may not have three pairs of those of which I am wearing my navy blue pair today. You can find them for as low as $30 a pair sometimes.

Had a blast at AMP yesterday with Hooked on Driving. Around 60 cars with perfect 64 degree weather. I was paired up with @GTHachiRoku as his coach for the day in his Firestorm FR-S. We also shared the track with another Asphalt FR-S as well so the 86 turnout was better than ever for a track day around here. My car ran great for the first session and then as the sun quickly warmed up the track the car became plagued with a persistent P0351 for the #1 coil. I think it just gets too hot down above the header/overpipe junction and when tracked frequently the #1 coil fails over time. Since there are a bunch of owners here with the exact same problem and respective CEL, I've already got a new revised OEM coil on the way. I'm not sure that wrapping/coating the header/op would make a big difference in coil life but I really want to try and get a solution to these failing after a year or so of consistent track time. A bolt-on coil heat shield or a coil made of more heat-resistant materials would be ideal. Anyways I decided after clearing the P0351 twice and it coming back each time that I should park the car and pack it up for the day, which I was fine with since I still got plenty of seat time in a FR-S all afternoon which was so much fun. Right now the car will throw P0351 when cruising around conservatively if I even briefly go WOT and let the revs climb for a few seconds. Sucks. I will review the two sessions of GoPro footage that I have and see if it's worth uploading. Last edited by ATL BRZ; 03-15-2014 at 11:13 AM. |

Short afternoon session in the B group with my student riding shotgun. Driving conservatively trying to avoid P0351 but it came back right at the end of the video where I cut it short and brought it back into the paddock. |
