New Subaru OEM wiper blades are poor quality

About a month ago I installed new wipers, bought from Subaru's Amazon store page. Hadn't driven the car in rain since, but did this morning, on the slow-itermittent and my wiper blades were chattering and dragging something badly. If I misted the windshield washers / rainX windshield fluid then the chattering would go away for a couple wipes but come back.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07582DM77/

It was immediately apparent that the new part isn't the same quality as my OE blades and housing. Also see the amazon reviews.

Another thing to note, it's probably a better idea to order the OEM inserts rather than the purchase a new housing. The inserts I installed 3-4 years ago worked great until now. But who knows if they've changed the quality on those parts.

And the last thing, I called my local Subaru dealership, they did not have wiper blades, housings, or inserts for the BRZ.

Ok, thanks!

It's not like it's official Subaru amazon page or anything.

But that sucks. I buy the refills on ebay and they work great and last a loooong time.

The only way to get genuine parts guaranteed is from the dealer.

Don’t get a new wiper, not to mention amazon.

Reuse Oem one with new insert. It’s aerodynamicly designed...
