What changes would you want on the BRZ?

Here's my list..

Armrest
Longer seat cushions--my thighs are dangling in mid-air
Better headlights and horn
6.5" rear speakers
86 the SUV-like sideview mirrors
Cant the gas pedal 15 degrees to the right
Less understeer

Had the car all of 3 weeks and already have the crickets.

Love the car though, it's a 26K Porsche.

What exactly do you want out of "better headlights?"

Am i the only one who dosent want an armrest? Before i bought the car i was actually thinking about buying one because it looks like you need one, but in practice my arm rests in completely the wrong place for an armrest to be effective at all, in between the handbreak/shifter and the place where an armrest might be. That middle cubby is just spaced way too far back for it to be effective at all.

I absolutely love the OEM Toyota armrest from over seas. They should at least make it a dealer installed option

Other than that, I wouldn't really change much. To me, the car is a blank canvas so as long as the chassis is good and it's RWD, I'm happy.

For me it's simple:

1) Better interior build quality (way too many rattles in my car)
2) A little more insulation to keep road noise down (particularly in the trunk area as the cabin gets much louder when the rear seats are down)
3) Miles-to-empty option in the dash read out. It is great to have MPG and trip, but having an estimated miles-to-empty reading is very nice and I miss it from my other cars.
4) A chilled seat option rather than heated seats
5) Better overall sound system

Other than that, for the price the car is real nice. Even if some think its under powered.

I just think more insulation in the truck is all I need. My car with just headers and a cat back (everything else is stock) is way too loud in the cabin. Also, the rattling every once in a while sucks too. I don't really mind these things though, they make it feel like a race car (it aint). I like race cars.

A better head unit. Software is not very intuitive.
Move cup holders fwd a bit.
Pretty drastic changes eh?

You aren't the only one natheria, i have no interest in an arm rest either.

I'd like an arm rest, a little more anti-road-noise insulation, and a transmission that doesn't sporadically grind >.< Also, addressing all the little rattles would be nice, but probably expensive and short lived (I'm guessing they would just use foam to keep things from rattling, but it would wear out).

I agree, 20-30 more horse power. close the wheel gap a little and larger exhaust tips, hate the stock gap there.

You're not the only one. I have to keep the seat too far forward for an arm rest to be usable, the ebrake handle works fine for me.
