Clutch noise when revving

Hey guys

I’ve recently been noticing that my 2013 Frs makes noise louder than usual when the clutch is depressed and I rev the engine. I started noticing this noise when I was shifting at higher Rpms. It sounds like something spinning without lubrication. My guess is that, it could be the TOB starting to go out on me (I’m really hoping that this isn’t the case)

Well, that could be.

How many miles on your car?

Does it have the original TOB?

It would be helpful if you could take and post a video/audio.

Yep 90% it's the TOB.
That low miles on an original clutch, yep. It's the TOB.

If you are handy with tools or have room and space to work on cars it's not bad of a job. Take your time ask for a few buddy's to help out.

If not, well your wallet is not going to like it.

Well I have caa and a Toyota dealership close. So I’ll most likely do it myself and if I screw it up, I’ll just tow it to a dealership. I’m guessing there is going to be a lot of “while I’m there” parts to replace. Got any idea on which parts I should also replace? I was thinking clutch as they’re not too expensive.

It's a catch 22, if you never intend to do anything for power. Just a stock clutch and revised TOB. Maybr a light flywheel (do some research to see if it's a mod for you.). If you're gonna go forced induction one day you should get the varus pivot point and clutch fork, and probably a stronger clutch.
