Who's popular belief? Of course it will still be out there. We don't have a vaccine yet. Once the world does, WE can effectively get rid of it like smallpox.

Well, I ventured out to Safeway to do our weekly grocery shopping. I usually go to Walmart, but that place is a mob. I hit Safeway's "senior only" shopping window from 7-9 AM on Tues and Thurs. Most everything was in stock. Since I was going to make a big batch of chili, I needed beans. The bean shelf was empty, however, I scored a few cans as the clerk was re-stalking the shelf. I had to knock this one old fools cane out from under him and kick this old ladies walker down the isle to get to the beans.

Now, it's time for lunch and a looong nap (to feed and rest up my immune system).

I'm afraid you're gonna hafta make your own.

Citrus smelling Purell recipe

In a pitcher, pour in 1 quart of Vodka

Add 1 can of frozen orange juice

Mix well

Pour 4 ounces over your hands, rub well

Fill a 8 ounce glass from the pitcher, ice cubes optional

Slowly drink over a 30 minute period of time

Repeat as desired.

Which reminds me of a back-in-the-day story.

Before date rape drugs, this is what we did at hot summer day parties.

Ingredients:

1 lemon
vodka
ice

In a mortar and pestle, grind up the peel of one lemon

Shave enough ice to fill a large glass

Mix lemon peel and ice and tightly pack the mixture into the glass

Fill glass with vodka

Give it to your date and tell her it's lemon aid

Man, I haven't done that for a while. I miss RC and 1/24th slot cars.

I’m not great at it, not enough patience. Our cad guy at work on the other hand will spend days masking and painting. He has some crawlers that are very scale looking.

He's adding more to it right now. It has working lights, the reverse lights come on when backing up even. Two speed trans, selectable locking diffs.

He's also doing a FJ40 right now that I haven't seen yet that will be leaf sprung. The chassis he is using is pretty cool, the axles are all metal and look like real Toyota axles.

Bought it on the cheap, lol. I'll paint it someday... but is aluminum siding so it may never need it.
