You know what, the grip from better tires is pretty cool and confidence inspiring, but at stock power levels, stock tires is pretty fun riding that line of grip and breaking loose. the stock primacies are pretty good at making noise before breaking traction, it's a larger 'oh sh*t' buffer.

DRIFT CLINIC ADDED TO WE'VE GOT 86!
Alright my fellow FRS, BRZ, and AE86 enthusiasts we have more good news! We will be changing the course through out the day in the Gymkhana section to include a Drift Clinic! The course will be set-up so that you may practice and learn how to maneuver around several cones in a controlled manner. It will be alot of fun so bring spares! SpeedZone has agreed to sell and install the front lip pictured below for the FRS and BRZ for $130. It is polyurethane. The $130 including shipping, tax, and installation. Might be a stupid question, but I too am curious at how the lapping will go:

Seeing as how its lead/follow, you'll probably be fine on stock pads. I don't think we will be going fast enough to warrant hard braking and incurring brake fade.

Just registered for the lead/follow session! Super excited to get back out on track, first time for me in my BRZ. Just got my RPF1s in, should have them on and ready by the 10th
