Hopefully it goes more smoothly than the recent GTS discussions.

I have not reviewed much with that change yet. I have every stock part for my car, so swapping back to stock is just a "time loss", the trunk would be a major purchase. I wouldn't sell anything I took off as the market for used 86 parts is terrible.

Maybe we should start/find a full NASA TT thread to move this discussion towards.

Used part market is fantastic... If you're buying

Every single SCCA solo class has its own thread so IMO there should be a NASA TT thread as well.....

The Midwest\Great Lakes data on the website is outdated, if you want to go through the real data, you can find it here: http://timingscoring.drivenasa.com/N..._Lakes_Region/ it's not friendly to browse, but it's better than the data on the website.

By weak do you mean cars are not as fast as they use to be? If so, I have to agree. Before 2013 the TTD lap record @ Mid Ohio was 1:39.385 in a MazdaSpeed Protege... an FRS with a few mods managed a 1:38.997 but it's not recorded as a lap record for some reason. After that, fastest times are:

2013: 1:40.990 in a Civic Si
2014: 1:41.997 in a Miata
2015: 1:43.849 in a different Miata

This is a snapshot of the last 3 years for TTD @ Mid Ohio, I only took data for Mid Ohio since that's where I have the most experience and TTD is where I'd place my car, should I decide to run.

I think redline and myself both have a laptimes faster than the TTD record at BIR by a couple of seconds. It is also like 5 years old tho.

I found one from over a year ago discussing points and stuff, but the data is old now. Shall we start a new one, or raise the old one from the dead?

I think this forum deserves a dedicated NASA TT thread. Go for it.
