Enkei RC-G5 15x6.5 +35 rally wheels
Fresh from Japan!
15 inch wheels are difficult to fit on a BRZ due to tie rod clearance (and brake caliper clearance in some cases). These wheels are designed specifically for the BRZ and will bolt up without issue. They do also have 15x7s as well a larger diameters. Flow formed, steel bolt hole inserts, and knurling on rim bead seats. All good things for their intended usage. They're light, but since they're designed for gravel/dirt, they're not ultra-light. I'll weigh them soon. There are probably lighter 16 inch wheels out there. I'll run them with winter tires for now and possibly gravel tires in the spring. No more events for the year. I'll update with pics on the car hopefully soon. - Andrew Last edited by Racecomp Engineering; 11-17-2020 at 10:29 AM. |

Nice, finally more 15" brake clearance confirmed wheels for twins. Imho superb choice for winter. Worth adding to wheel directory.

Proper rally look! Well done.
Is it a powder coated finish? The weight will be interesting too. |

http://www.rallispec.com/whe_whe_5rcg15.html Says 7.4 kg which is 16.31 pounds. Not many wheels out there outside of Volk or T66f will be lighter. Hopefully the actual wheels will be a tad lighter than advertised.

They are flow formed. My 16x7 RPF1s were like 14 pounds...though definitely not designed for gravel. - Andrew Last edited by Racecomp Engineering; 11-17-2020 at 10:28 AM. |

There is some debate on whether or not powdercoating weakens wheels. That's outside my area of expertise...either way I trust Enkei did a good job on their rally wheels when it comes to strength and finish. - Andrew |

We don't officially carry them, although we might in the future. These were around 300 a wheel plus shipping and I can at least point you in the right direction for now if you're interested. - Andrew |

Wheels are on the car. With the tight caliper and tie rod clearance, I recommend having a conversation with your tire guy prior to mounting. We put the wheels on the car first so they could see where wheel weights will and will not work. I'll take some pictures next time the car is up in the air.
I did get the ~$60 Enkei aluminum hubcentric rings. Will probably get some cheap center caps for street driving. Barely driven on them so far...nothing really to report outside the obvious that it's very different than 225/45/17 summer tires. My car is very dirty...need the wheels to get equally dirty so they match. Still funny to be driving on 15's. The 15x7 with 205/65/15s would definitely be "beefier" but I think this set up will be better for rallyx and arguably better in the snow. - Andrew |

The car definitely moves around with the General Altimax Artic tires, but I think I like them more than the Blizzaks on dry/wet streets. No real snow testing yet.
The ride is better but not that much better than my 17 inch summer wheels. - Andrew |
