Dropped it off. They’re going to take a third go at matching the SWP paint so my accident repair doesn’t make my car look like it’s made of junkyard parts.

I don’t expect it to go well to be honest. Not sure what I’ll do with it after. Might give up and try to wrap it.

Why not respray the whole thing?

Because I’m not paying money to repaint a 2013 with 100k miles and 2 accidents, and there’s no way I’ll be able to convince them to do it for free lol. Hell as it is a good respray would cost half as much as the car is worth.

It's not your fault that they can't get the colour to match.. so you keep rejecting and they'll then suggest a complete respray..

Hahah or it will just get painted so many times that the first rock chip that hits it makes it look like someone cut a gobstopper in half, lol!

How did the installation go? That was going to be one of my first mods but there were questions about the quality of the Intec product.

I have the Intec light for almost two years now. No issues. However, the part of the light without the 3M tape does want to sag a bit on really hot days.

My install was a bit extensive since I did remove the rear shelf and drilled out the OEM light, replaced the holes with black felt and mounted it back.

It's from Japan. Only the highest quality. The install went fine. The only thing I did wrong was lose the little covers they provide for the rear deck. I made my own from a 2.00 piece of self-adhesive felt. From the front seat it was like it was never there.

For those doing it on their own, a nail polish remover bottle cap is the perfect size for a template to cut out the felt.

Let me introduce you to Mrs. BRZ

I am done for now. She now looks like I wished from the showroom floor. I just broke 1,000 miles tonight and it took me almost three months to get there. And this is my DD.

I do plan on changing the radio station from time to time. Does that count?
