New thing I learned about this car..

I drove into an extremely deep puddle, with water going above the mid hood. I made it through, the (2014)WRX, (1999?)Camry and (2004?) ford focus did not make it... They all got flooded engines, I got 2-3 inches of water inside my car. So best way to dry out completely soaked carpet in a car???

The carpet may be the least of your problems. I would disconnect the battery, leave the doors and hood open (preferably in a conditioned space with reduced humidity), and remove the carpeting to fully dry out the floor and any affected wiring. A large fan positioned to blow into the car might help.

It might be helpful to warm up the engine thoroughly before doing the above steps to help dry things out.

It's been about 10 hours since it happened. Car runs fine, no noticeable problems.

Ya just keep a good circulation of air through it. If you can control temperature, avoid colder air.

You need silica beads like you get in a shoe box. Someone mentioned the product. Comes in a little tub. If it stays damp long it will stink or get mouldy.

Perhaps learning not drive into such big puddles would be a good idea after doing so in so many cars.
