I just cracked my Bayson R front lip today. Picked up my nephew to take him to work, misjudged the stupid break in his driveway climbing up to the street. $100 for a new one, sure, but I think I'm done with front lips until I move away from Alaska. This place sucks for body kits or basically anything nice. Can't wait for May 2015.

Another thing about the BRZ skirt lip, the STI online catalog shows that it is installed along the edge of the lower front spoiler (which the shop has done for me) and cut the ends at an angle all the way to the lower edge of the L shape (which I have done myself and finished it off with 800 grit and 2000 grit wet sandpaper).

On the instructions, it says to install the skirt lip 7mm off the edge of the lower front spoiler, and to finish the ends by cutting a 11mm by 12mm right angle triangle (this is shown for the skirt lip on the Legacy).

Here's a pic of the skirt lip for the WRX STI (again 7mm off the edge but straight cut to the ends):

I think this explains the difference in skirt lip part numbers between BRZ/Legacy vs. WRX STI (probably length and height of the rubber strip).

So I'm confused. Are we able to order like the STi Front Under Spoiler from US dealers now because of the Series Blue? I had a STi Front lip but had a rather unfortunate night a few weeks ago and want to get a new one. If it is available from US dealers can someone give me a P/N or explain to me how to go about ordering from a US dealer? Thanks guys

anytime you want haha. official BRZ ts brake kit on Japanparts is 5k for the front alone (gl with that). otherwise the calipers are the same as what they use on 08+ wrx stis
