It definitely will, I have the same battery just with different polarity battery posts due to RHD.

What exactly do you mean by tending it? Just taking it out of the car and charging it? What's the reason for doing that?

I'm going to keep my factory battery, just in case the little 21 ever gives me trouble. Is there something I should do to the factory battery to ensure it has a long storage life?
Battery tending is simply keeping the battery in optimal charge condition. Using the Shorai charger every 3 weeks or so kept my battery above 14V for its entire life (and probably with the guy who bought my evo). With your factory one, you can buy a cheap battery tender and charge the battery probably every three months if you wanted to. But I guarantee you'll toss it once the LFX21 comes in. =)

Hope you have fun with it!

Thanks! And yeah, I hope to never have to use the other battery. I ordered the battery and the charger. That's it. It was only like $242 with shipping. Not too shabby.

I thought it was supposed to be like 27 degrees this morning, then once the car cranked I realized it was actually 37. Not the coldest day by any means, but it still cranked strong.

It cranked in 15 degree weather like a week later. I'll be getting home from a two week trip in a few days and will get to test its ability to crank after sitting for a while. I'm confident it will crank.
