And recently I "cloned" an adjustable bag rider. A couple of hours in fusion 360, about $20 in hardware, and about 6 iterations of 3d printing to get the fit just right and I have one that works quite well. Working on a version for my Howa 1500 as well because I'm liking it so much.

I recently won my first club match at 100m. Pleasantly surprised by that! Will also be participating in the 200m next time around, and thinking about BR50 as well.

Shot my first sub 0.5" 10rd group at 100y the other day. Very very pleased!

Hubba hubba. Nice shooting too.

Also, I've used Fusion360 to make a few gun related tools since I got my x1c. I've seen people make entire stocks and it's nifty to see how you've used it.

Two new toys from the last two weeks (thanks Maryland 7day wait *rolls eyes*).

The canik hype is real. I knew the micro compact was a joy to shoot but the full size Mete SFX pro is otherworldly. I absolutely suck with handguns and this thing makes me look like a beast at 25 yards. I'm gonna throw a target out to 50 yards to see what's up.

The P322 is just my first Sig and I needed a new 22 host so voila.

I have been interested in trying a Canik. One of my buddies just got his FFL not long ago which has been dangerous on my wallet. I just got a PSA Dagger and Rock frames from him so I can start piecing together a couple pistols. I really didn't want the dagger but 150 for both frames was kind of hard to pass up.

If he can get you a Canik at cost... you'll be saving a ton of money to get a gun that shoots incredibly well. I really was hoping the gun was over hyped but nope. It shoots better than I ever will. (all for the cost of two of the cheapest PSA daggers)

Thanks! I'm also adapting this to my Howa 1500 in an XRS chassis.

How do you like your x1c? It's been on my radar as an upgrade.

The ender 3 pro was good to learn on, but I'm not getting the print quality I want consistently. I find I'm always having to tweak it... I'd rather spend more time designing and printing than fixing at this point lol. Plus the x1c seems to be significantly faster to print.

Been doing a lot of shooting matches over the past 18 months or so. Good amount of USPSA and some PCSL. Managed to do pretty well at a few local PCSL matches, so I’m going to Nationals in NV next month.

Also been playing with some longer range 5.56 stuff just to challenge myself in different ways. Got a new PB of 612 yards with this 13.9 using a dot and magnifier. Was able to get quite a few hits too, like 75-80% hits over a single mag.

Fun to shoot this again as all the PCSL stuff and local events I’ve been helping with, I’ve primarily been using the mk18.

Debating if I want to start playing with 308 next year and start pushing out to 1,000.

Having gone from nothing to this, I can't speak to the speed but I can speak to the ease of use and i LOVE how easy it is to use. The slicer is good. Fusion is hard. As long as I keep track of bed temps for really large parts, everything prints well too. The tips I read about on teh FB groups aren't always accurate. Sifting through them to figure out what worked for big flat parts was fun.

I've never heard of PCSL but I like the idea of creating comps without having to join a club of any sort (even if uspsa is cheap).

5.56 out to 612 yards sounds like a good time. Then again, 1000yd shoots sounds like fun too

You should definitely do it

PCSL is a newer league. I like it because of the way the classing system works and the fact you get to run pistol and rifle on each stage. The classes are simply practical and competition.

I can run a Glock 19/17/45 with an SRO/RMR and X300 and a suppressed mk18 or 13.9 carbine and be in practical division so long as I stick with 30 round AR mags and <21 round pistol mags, which works since I use G17 mags with +2 bases.

https://youtube.com/shorts/6Wo0wwiZP...-tK4Pj7bBm_THC

Here’s the 612yd shot. Did it a bunch of times but it’s hard to hear with the varying wind conditions through the clip. I used to run a 1-8 Nightforce on this and had shot to 560ish. I recently switched back to a dot and magnifier combo for this gun though. I’m sure 700-800 would be very easily repeatable with good decently quick split times between shots with the old LPVO setup. With this, I think 500-600ish is probably the upper limit. I think beyond that is for sure doable too, but is just beyond what the rifle is meant to do.

77gr OTMs makes this gun an pretty reliable sub MOA gun with the barrel it uses. But if I want to consistently go further, I’d pick a different caliber.

When I get a chance to go out again though, I’ll probably try a bit more distance. The BDC reticle only allows for holds to 600 though, anything beyond that is me just aiming in space lol

You can just hear that steel ring and it's glorious
Makes me wanna hit the 500yd range and see what I can do. Ranges around here have definitely kept me concerned with 300yds and in. UGH

For sure man! Give it a go. If you use something like StrelokPro or another good ballistic calculator, it can help really get your holds dialed in. I plugged all my info into this app and was immediately on target lol.

Very useful, especially with todays ammo prices

Finally found my upper receiver block so I could put my linear comp on and my range buddies can stop hating me. Also installed an ambi safety which I am not sure how I feel about yet. So used to swiping it with my trigger finger it feels weird.
