SuperPro 22mm Front Sway Bar

I was looking for a stiffer front sway bar that wouldn't potentially overburden the tires and settled on the SuperPro 22mm front sway bar.

There was no noticeable change in NVH but the car seems to have gained extra compliance over bumps and feels like it rides better than stock. I'm not sure if this is due to a different geometry with this bar or the use of poly bushings.

I also took some quick measurements (bathroom scale only good for 0.5lb increments).
Stock: 6lbs, 18.50mm (2017+ BRZ)
SuperPro: 8.5lbs, 22.19mm

I would've taken more photos but my endlinks put up a fight. https://www.instagram.com/p/CNQtauun4FO/

Did you get the hollow 22mm bar or solid?
On many vendor sites it is not clear to me if it is hollow or solid.
I have seen two different part numbers.
RC0015FHZ-22
RC0015FZ-22

I wonder if they stopped making the hollow bar?
I don't see it on the mfg site.

The part number on the packaging was RC0015FZ-22 but I can't confirm if it's hollow or not. I would guess that it's hollow but if somebody can chime in what the Perrin 22mm bar weighs then that might give us an indication whether it's solid or hollow.

I'm surprised you went with a 22m for D street without being able to do other modifications like springs/coilovers. From what I've read, 22mm (solid) might pushing it in the front without tailoring the rear or other components.

I'm looking for my front sway size and generally see 20mm is a good size given the stock is 18mm. That 2mm jump really increases the stiffness.

I have large 24mm bars on my WRX, both front and real. I felt the car actually handled worse with them. They're almost too stiff, wheels pick up a lot at autox, front and rear.

Although after seeing some pictures from this weekend, I really need to get one for the BRZ. I'll at least keep 22mm in mind.

I went for the SuperPro sway bar under the impression it was a 22mm hollow bar. However, after digging around, I think it might be a solid bar since I found the Tanabe 22mm hollow bar weighs in at 6.5lbs and the Eibach 25mm weighs in at 7.5lbs.

I was hoping to get something like the Tanabe with increased roll resistance but minimal weight gain. I haven't had a track/autocross event yet but I don't think a 200TW tire will have too much trouble coping with this bar.
