I installed and played GTA 5 for two days. Did not play it again for about 5 days. When I tried again, my PS3 now does not recognize any discs. They go in, I can hear they drive reading it but they just dont show up in the XMB.

I have looked online and there are other people reporting similar behavior, but no one has a fix. Im about ready to sell the hard copy and buy the digital copy even if it performs poorer but at least I'll be able to play. PS3 has been running like a champ since 07, never ever had any issues with it....

I had one do this Christmas Eve about 4 years ago. Ended up the Eye on the disc drive went bad. In the early models of the PS3 they where so rushed to get the blue ray reader in them that they were CRAP! Good Luck.

So I took the PS3 apart Friday... My 2 yr old had inserted a Directv box Card into the PS3 and it was blocking the eye from reading discs

All is good now

LMFAO my 7 year old put a sim card in mine!!! His excuse was he wanted to save the game!!! Laughed to hard to yell at him!!

Just so you know, the 86 pre-production concept is now in GTA 5. It's called the Furore GT. You can find it in the special garages you purchase by tapping right on the D-pad.
