I'm sorry, that engine is a pretty poor choice for the MR-S...

It's heavier than an inline 4, the Subaru transmission is extremely heavy, it's not actually much lower, and anything with a turbo makes tons of power.

A K20/24 is better and less work. So is a 2AZ or 2AR, or just a 2ZZ. The stock transmission can survive if the boost is low, and you can make tons of power if it comes on at high rpm.

For a totally stripped car with a WRX donor, a FF 818 is an easier way to get there.
