I’m not too fan of odd vinyl hood & door graphics… but they said they’re making white & red color options for Trueno Edi, so interested to see how it looks in red.

They also showing off 45th anniversary Edi & I must say, I like the color. If I was in the market to buy Supra, I would def choose this color.
I really like that Orange they released the gr86 in in Japan (I don't think they've sold it here but I could be wrong). I know it's not Hot Lava but it's still nice in photos at least.

Doubt you will allow yourself to pay $30k over msrp

I guess I've reached that point in my life where I must old and grumpy and lost my taste for these cars because frankly I wouldn't pay MSRP for either, never mind ADP.

The Supra is just busy and ugly. The 86 has lost its old school charm in the current Gen.

I'm very happy others like them both, I've just moved on I guess.

I just can't with the new releases. It's not that I don't like them. I find a lot of the new trims or models very exciting. I'm pleased there is such a resurgence in affordable cars. The problem is, that word "affordable" is becoming very discombobulated. Mark ups are killing the desire to be interested in anything new and exciting. After I move this summer, my plan was to pick up another twin or possibly something like the GR Corolla. But with the way mark ups are going (even for used) it's just not worth it anymore.

Special trims and such is just extra ammo for dealerships.

You can find a regular GR-BRZ for MSRP, is just a matter of patience. There's a few around my area where they are selling them MSRP. At least last time I checked.

Paying $60k for a damn Corolla? I pass, would rather hunt a mint used Porsche.

Guess I should have qualified "moved on". I meant from the new models. I still have my 220K Mile 2013 "1st one in Georgia" as my daily driver. Love it every time I get in it.

It needs a paint job though. Looks great from 30ft, like crap from 3ft.

From 30 feet away she looked like a lot of class. From 10 feet away she looked like something made up to be seen from 30 feet away.

Caved and bought a strut tower brace. Needed a place to mount my accumulator and didn't feel like building something.

You couldn't mount it to the stock diagonal braces?

I haven't detailed my car in about a year now. It hurts a bit...
