I guess I've reached that point in my life where I must old and grumpy and lost my taste for these cars because frankly I wouldn't pay MSRP for either, never mind ADP.
The Supra is just busy and ugly. The 86 has lost its old school charm in the current Gen. I'm very happy others like them both, I've just moved on I guess.

Random Thoughts - Part III The Search for Spark (No Politics)
You can sell “Naughty boy” used car seat water. Basically a combination of sweat, farts, and dirt. Aint much, but is honest work.

I just can't with the new releases. It's not that I don't like them. I find a lot of the new trims or models very exciting. I'm pleased there is such a resurgence in affordable cars. The problem is, that word "affordable" is becoming very discombobulated. Mark ups are killing the desire to be interested in anything new and exciting. After I move this summer, my plan was to pick up another twin or possibly something like the GR Corolla. But with the way mark ups are going (even for used) it's just not worth it anymore.

Special trims and such is just extra ammo for dealerships. You can find a regular GR-BRZ for MSRP, is just a matter of patience. There's a few around my area where they are selling them MSRP. At least last time I checked.

It needs a paint job though. Looks great from 30ft, like crap from 3ft.

Caved and bought a strut tower brace. Needed a place to mount my accumulator and didn't feel like building something.

You couldn't mount it to the stock diagonal braces?
