hell, I get those at my apartment complex -.-

No idea why though.

And @Dadhawk, your car will soon blend in with the asphalt.

I got back from colorado the other week and found my car covered, even though it had been in a covered parking garage. I mean, I know it's thick this time of year, but didn't really expect it to be like that.

Someone make a meme.....pollenstorm ALL the things! Featuring a tree with spiky blonde hair.

I stuck around a job for a full year getting paid well below the position. I told the CFO to either pay me a fair wage for the work they want, or I'd leave. He thought I was bluffing (found this out after the fact as I have friends in high places there), and was pretty shocked when I had an offer on the table just 2 weeks later for 20K more. I left. Now they are outsourcing my job for considerably more than I would have been paid. I've heard it's quite frustrating for them.

Point of the story is that companies are generally cheap. Nothing is guaranteed unless it's in writing (and that's only guaranteed because it would cost them more not to adhere to it). Just be professional and ethical about everything and you'll end up just fine.
Thanks for the advice; I believe that's what I'll do then. I'm way too hard of a worker to have to deal with being lied to like that.

Thinking I should nip this in the butt and find another job before I have to deal with years of being strung along. Opinions?
Been there.

Left a job with great pay, great benefits, and real advancement opportunities in the wireless industry to work for a relative's friend at a local manufacturer/machine shop. I figured I'd learn something new and perhaps learn a trade.

Ended up spending 1.5 years as a temp making shit money and doing shit work. Learned a lot but it sucked.

I am so jealous of this kid's abilities. To have the opportunity to play at the Masters at FOURTEEN years old... just mind boggling.

Here's a shot of it after less than 90 minutes outside including an hour of driving. I love the way it just sparkles in the sun....

This year I should have been in a nice big penthouse. A plan that consisted of me and 2 others guys. However, both lost their job and one of them decided to move to a new state. Anyway, some people think I should consider moving out to a new city or mainly a college town. And my sister happens to live in a big college town as well. She's in one of these situations right now, that my parents and I... "told you so"...., when she's regretting her roommates, apartment, and job. So now I'm entertaining the idea to move there and get a new place and perhaps temporarily have her as a roommate. Though just like any other brothers and sisters there will be plenty of disagreements or just getting on each others nerves easily.

Like I said I'm just thinking about it. As I may just stay put here and find another place in this damn city.

Thanks man. I just get the feeling why put myself in that situation. But family is family and I should help out if it does come down to that.

If they are mature and need help sure.
But if they just want a buddy to room with than probably not.
Well she's mature... maybe too mature. Not that much younger than me. And this would only happen if she was really in desperate need of support.

Beyond that, it would depend on the situation. I would never turn a family member in need of basic shelter away, but there would have to be a plan, particularly since all my siblings would come with families!

If we were all single then probably but there would have to be a lot of ground rules, just like with any roommate situation. I'm not quite asking for a "Sheldon Cooper Roommate Agreement" but everyone needs to know where everyone stands.
Hmm maybe I should get my attorney in on this, so I can make a strict complex living agreement contract. This sounds like a good idea.

This is good advise. Why? Cause this is what I'm having to deal with, except I'm on the other side of the desk. I've had to tell some employees they need to do what's best for them and their families.

No sugar coating, no games, just real talk.

Yup, had the CFO I was referencing done the same, my life would have been easier. Kudos to you for being real with your employees.

Yeah that's about where I was at my previous job, learned a ton but the pay was butt. So when I came to this place I was hoping for greener pastures.... not the same even shade of brown. Learning experience I guess, hopefully third times the charm.

You're a good man . I'd 100% rather someone be honest and straight with me than string me along only to waste my time. I'm an incredibly patient person but everyone has their limits.

So I got those damn hard water spots off finally. Here's a list of failed methods I tried:

-Car glass cleaner
-Quick detailer
-Clay with water
-Clay with quick detailer
-Water/Vinegar mixture
-Claying with water/vinegar mixture
-Denatured Alcohol on a towl

Down to my last option, I tried my Meguiars 205 very fine polish and it removed it in no time. Windows nice and shiny now.
