You forgot that he have a JR SC

2000-2500 RPM when on the throttle more than 1/4, when accelerating or pulling a hill above 3000 to 5000 was pretty obnoxio us in the cabin, when above 5000 RPM on the throttle at all is brutally loud, especially so above 1/2 throttle. Full throttle is just silly loud above 5000. I am very hopeful with this 22" resonator option. I will let you know tomorrow. The guy is making the front half of the mid pipe from scratch. I am very glad, as my Corsa will remain intact should I ever decide to sell it. The guy is charging me $165 to do the front half of the midpipe. Pretty darn reasonable I think. He had to order the resonator, otherwise he would have done it today. He even commented that it made no sense how loud it was considering two resonators, a muffler, and a cat. You never know what kind of stuff is going on inside that exhaust until you experience it I guess.

Edit: forgot to add, it is very reasonable when just cruising below 3000 RPM in a very neutral throttle position on flat runs.

There is one more thing to report. I did install the factory front pipe today and it was slightly quieter than the JDL ultra quiet front pipe, Not by much though. Still very very loud, it was worth a try.

How much louder than stock would the header and front pipe be paired with an Invidia Q300?

I know SpeedAcademy had the Corsa Exhaust with a JRSC and it was ridiculously loud. I'm pretty sure the Q300 is the quietest catback available right now so I hope that it is much quieter.

^ it's gonna be pretty loud as well. But without supercharger it shouldn't be that bad.

With the JDL front pipe, super charger and stock exhaust manifold, it honestly wasn't that loud until WOT above 5000 RPM. It wasn't stock quiet, but really not noticably louder than all stock car with just Corsa cat back. I ran just cat back on stock car for 18 months or so. I swapped front pipes and sound changed slightly, but no real volume increase. It really wasn't any louder with the Jackson Racing SC and the new front pipe either, but add header and wow. My 18 year old son said it was embarrassing. He drives a not so quiet r53 mini. I get the new resonator this afternoon. I'll post results later.

Are there any recommendations for a catted 3" front pipe out there? All the 3" parts seem to either be un-catted or to incorporate the overpipe in to the front pipe.

I'm trying to plan out a full 3" exhaust system to match up with the 350 header.

Is the Ace particularly loud or are most catless headers just as loud?

Speed Academy has the AVO turbo world exhaust on their FRS, not the Corsa exhaust.

One of their videos they borrowed a Corsa, but they switched to a 3" AVO because reasons. Funny enough I was at NV the day after they were there getting it toned down
