I don't think it would be possible without it looking messed with.

Since this thread got bumped, I figured that I would give an update. The piece has stayed on very well, even though it has been in the rain, and I wash my car often. It still looks great, and hopefully it does for years to come.

Sadly the "TURD" (not a typo) logo kills it for me...

I covered the logo with a piece of gloss black body wrap material and you'd have to know its there to see it.

I'm not a fan of company logos, but if I'm going to have any on this car it's going to be TRD. I'm planning on only buying TRD parts in the future for my build.

Honestly the only way to do it.

Let me know how your cars turn out. Definately dig the TRD parts for this car.

I like things that look oem, some may argue that "TRD products are overpriced" but hey, it's your money and your car why the hell care about what others think

Post English Instructions for the MS346-18001 TRD Aero Stabilizing Cover

I am very late to the game on this thread, but maybe someone else can use the help as well.

I found English language instructions...sort of...it's a decent effort translation:

http://www.billswebspace.com/MS346-18001-2.ja.en.pdf

I have a 2017 Toyotas 86. Perfect fit.

Bottom line, I used 2 of the large spacers (there are two sizes) doubled up. One set in the center, and one each on the sides about 10 cm from the edge of the trunk each. (3 total). Part of the Aero Stabilizer slides under the trunk and the part you see has a bump. I stuck the three spaces onto the stabilizer itself on the vertical bump, standing upright, in order to have consistent spacing from the trunk edge (they are sticky but come off very easily).

Step 1: Open your trunk and clean the glass from the bottom edge to about 3 inches up.
Step 2: Line up the stabilizer with the bottom edge of the glass. Apply the spacers to the stabilizer. Move it out of the way.
Step 3: Wipe down the clean part of the glass that the stabilizer will cover with the included 3M primer wipe. Two are included in the package. You should only need one (if they aren't old or expired). Allow 10 minutes to dry.
Step 4: Close your trunk.
Step 5: Remove about 1-2 inches of the stabilizers glue paper (whatever it's called) starting at the center, moving outward. Leave the 4 paper ends exposed. You will need to be able to pull them off later.
Step 6: Fit the stabilizer into the trunk groove. Make sure the gap on the left and right side is even. Open the trunk slightly while holding the stabilizer in place to make sure it is aligned with the glass in case the spaces aren't lined up properly. (I am a bit paranoid so I triple checked, but it shouldn't be necessary.) Close the trunk completely. The spaces should hold it in place.
Step 7: Double check the left/right spacing to be sure it's even. Press down in the center, on the TRD label, to hold it in place as you remove the 4 strips of paper. I removed the two at the top first, pressed down to make it stick, then the bottom two, and pressing down to make it stick, starting from the center, moving outward on both sides at the same time.
Step 8: Remove the spacers. They should come off effortlessly.

Let it set in overnight.

I hope this helps. The directions, even in English, are not great. It really is simple and maybe I went into too much detail, but you only get one shot at it.
