Snap-on diagnostic tool to read frs cam angles?
So my boss has a snap-on diagnostic tool, and I was wondering if I can use it to read the intake/exhaust cam angles on my fr-s. I recently had p0018 on my fr-s, but solved it by having my dealership swap out my ecm with a new one. Before I swapped out the ecm, my intake cam angles were off which made me curious about where my intake valves are. Now, instead of going to the dealership, I want to see if a snap on diagnostic tool can read my intake cam angle percentage.. Anybody have any experience with snap-on diagnostic tools and fr-s's? I also have ecutek, so if ecutek can help, that'll be great to.. Thanks!

have you looked at all the things you can monitor with ECUTEK? Its insane haha. If I remember right you can see the cam angles in real time as well as log them for a review after driving

Torque can display any data that comes over OBD2. You just need the PID for the data that you are looking for. Torque CAN do it, but you need to configure it properly. This is done from the "Manage Custom OBD2 PIDs" menu See this thread for more info: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=15
