FS: McLeod Clutch & Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel
Location: Lake Elsinore, CA
Price: $550 shipped (no trades-no more frs)...price drop, $380 shipped (ConUS) What: Clutch and lightweight flywheel McLeod Street Supreme Clutch and lightweight flywheel (10lbs) for sale Used this on my supercharged car, this is a pretty aggressive clutch but it holds well to higher hp/tq builds. Made for abuse! Comes with TOB, up to you if you want to use it. It worked fine for me for the 6 months I had it installed, but you know how our cars love tob's lol. Oh, and it's broken in too so you can beat on it immediately. As I mentioned, this clutch is pretty aggressive. Your dainty little left leg is gonna need to toughen up, and you're not gonna wanna be sipping on fine tea while driving this. However, high rpm launches and flat foot/wot shifting will be merely laughed at by this clutch. Also, although the flywheel is light, I did not have any idle issues (nor did I have anything done to my tune, of course YMMV). This was in the car for 6 months, and only 4k miles (car was sold). In your honest opinion, how tolerable was using this clutch on the street/stop and go traffic?

Granted my clutch setup was different than most with the swapped slave cylinder and clutch helper spring removed. It would probably be a lot nicer with the stock slave and spring in there. |
