If I had to guess, I'd say the earlier headlights are an optional bi-xenon HID upgrade, with LED running lights since HIDs don't like to be run at partial power. The more recent design would be the standard halogen setup with a projector low-beam and reflector high beam with one or the other being run at a lower voltage for DRLs.

I liked the original concept headlights better but than again I could see them in their full glory as oppose to being surrounded by swirling lines that mask the lines of the car already so yea the lights don't look like the match the car right now sorta to me as well but thats with a whole body of camo too early to judge in my books

I hope they look better once all the camo comes off. I liked the original concept headlights even liked the headlights/tail lights on the FT86II/FRS concepts.

After looking at some of the race pics, I'm sure it's decent once the camo comes off.
The camo really hide up the lines very well. |

yea I`m more worried bout the tail lights as the concept ones were all soo much nicer than the mule
I was extremely impressed with how well the camo hides the lines on the hood which make or break the cars lines to me consider you can see the roof lines then a blank hood kinda kills the flow |

I think a lot of people don't like the tail lights, but have just accepted that it will be there

I am hoping its padding hiding a nice slender thin line that goes into a ball/cicrile tail light

I am concered of the head- and the tail lights, too! I think they are super fugly on the mule! I miss the agressive look of the concepts!
But if you take a look here itīs OK http://rampantrenders.com/2011/10/ft...e-camouflaged/ - thereīs also a thread in the PS area! |

The only thing that really bugs me is the tear drop lights/necklace look that the showroom one has, heres hoping thats not on the production car.
