If I drive out to the big farms, I can get all the potatoes I want for free. Farmers have just put big piles out for free since their demand basically got cut more than half with restaurants closed. Food banks are loading up truckloads.

missed opportunity. if they had just worked to distribute the potatoes to food banks across the country, they could later advertise how great they are for supporting food banks.

Looks like Subaru found something to do during the crisis. They are leasing a closed down airport to store cars that are piling up at the docks.

Unfortunately the farmers don't have the money to package and distribute. They have already lost too much on this crop. They are still getting good press setting them out for pickup for those that can get them. Dairy guys are in the same boat.

Brings to mind a sad story from back-in-the-day in California. One year, the market for apricots went south and it would cost the orchardists more to pick the fruit than they could sell it for. So the valley was scattered with apricot trees with the fruit literally "dripping" off of the trees.

Yep, one could take a bucket and catch the overripe apricots as they fell into the bucket, leaving the seed on the tree. Each night for a week or so, I would stop at an orchard and fill a couple of 2 gal buckets full of overripe apricots. I had a elderly, retired neighbor lady who just loved to bake, so she would make deep dish apricot pies out of them, then distribute them the the other neighbors. Hmmm......gooood! However, one could just eat so much deep dish apricot pie -

I don't think I've played Reach actually, but I love the Halo series.

I had only played CE and Halo 2. Since the others had not been released on PC, they were lost to me (I don't do consoles for the most part).

I enjoyed Reach, it is pure Halo in terms of story and action. I'm planning to play all of them in order as they are released as part of the collection.

CE and Reach definitely had the best storylines. The rest were kind of a trainwreck. I couldn't bring myself to even finish 5. Hopefully they get back on track with Infinity, as it's supposed to be centered back around the Masterchief.

Hey, no worries we all have our hobbies. Some of us play video games, some of us build models, some cook and some play pin the pillar with my car.

We don't judge.
