See above for Garage88 details. All I'll say about the price is that it reflects the quality. |

As a rough example, if springs MSRP at $400, JParts would price it at $375 + $125 shipping. So you effecively pay $100 for shipping. That's pretty reasonable considering how it has to fly from overseas and you can have the part at your door by the end of next week. When I'd inquire about the same part through a US-based JDM parts vendor (say, Bulletproof Automotive), they'd mark it up to $450 + $200 shipping with 8-12 weeks delivery. These are not exact numbers based on a real part but I was given a similar upcharge ratio when they quoted my STI lip kit (so I went with JParts).

This looks interesting. 10 lbs seems crazy light for all I know.
That would be saving 10 lbs per wheel since the oem wheels are 20 lbs. |

Yes, that does sound pretty darn amazing- 40lbs off of drivetrain & unsprung weight is nuts..that's almost twice more drivetrain-weight savings than a lightened driveshaft/flywheel/pulley combined.

I'm not knocking losing drivetrain weight at all, but you'll notice 5kg off the flywheel, significantly more than 2.5kg off each rear wheel. |
